How the other half lives

After 31+ years on this planet, I finally managed to drag my west coast self to the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. What's the one thing their beach has that ours doesn't? . . . . Sunrise. Little else would get me out of bed before dawn.

Much thanks to Jupiter, Florida and the friends who inspired the trip.

  1. i imagine it's a bit surreal to see the sun rise over the ocean. like seeing birds fly backwards (which is what I'm watching out my skylight--too windy for the little buggers to get where they want to go).
